| Objective: To explore the impact of continuous health education on auditory function and psychological status in children with cochlear implants. Methods: A total of 102 children who underwent cochlear implantation were selected and divided into a control group and a study group according to a random number table method, with 51 cases in each group. The control group received routine health education, while the study group received comprehensive health education. The auditory function, psychological status, quality of life, and compliance of the two groups were compared. Results: At the 6-month follow-up, the auditory function scores of children in the study group were higher than those in the reference group (P<0.05); the psychological status scores of children in the study group were lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05); the quality of life scores of children in the study group were higher than those in the reference group (P<0.05); the overall compliance rate of children in the study group was higher than that of the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Comprehensive health education can enhance treatment adherence in children with cochlear implants, improve their psychological well-being, and enhance their auditory function and quality of life. |
