EN Abstract:
  Objective: To explore the effectiveness of visual flowchart tool in rehabilitation medicine standardized residency training. Methods: Using the International Standard for Neurological Classification of Spinal Cord Injury (ISNCSCI) developed by the American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) as the teaching content, the residents who were rotating in the department from March 2024 to December 2024 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the experimental group (using the “Ask Me” visual flowchart tool developed by our department for ASIA Impairment Scale evaluation) and the control group (using traditional text-based guidelines), with 30 residents in each group. At the end of the rotation, the correct scores of ASIA Impairment Scale evaluation, evaluation time and satisfaction with evaluation tools were compared between the two groups. Results: The experimental group demonstrated significantly higher correct scores (P<0.001) and overall satisfaction with the ease of use of the evaluation tool than the control group (P<0.05), while no significant differences were observed in evaluation time or satisfaction with the evaluation tools in terms of promoting knowledge understanding, broadening clinical thinking, and increasing practical confidence. Conclusion: The application of visual flowchart tool in rehabilitation medicine standardized residency training can significantly improve the teaching effectiveness.
