| Objective: To explore the efficacy of Xingshen Tongjing Daoqi acupuncture combined with isokinetic-balance-weight loss continuous rehabilitation training in the therapy of post-cerebral infarction (CI) hemiplegia, and its influences on the motor function, balance function and serum inflammatory factor levels of patients. Methods: A total of 90 patients with post-CI hemiplegia were selected and separated into the training group (45 cases) and the acupuncture group (45 cases) by the random number table method. Both groups were given basic therapy such as anti-platelet aggregation and control of blood pressure and blood glucose. The training group simply adopted isokinetic-balance-weight loss continuous rehabilitation training, while the acupuncture group was given the Xingshen Tongjing Daoqi acupuncture additionally on the basis of training group. The therapy courses of both groups were 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared, the motor function [Fugl-Meyer assessment (FMA) score], balance function [Berg balance scale (BBS)], and the levels of serum procalcitonin (PCT), C-reactive protein (CRP) were compared before and after therapy. Meanwhile, the incidence of adverse reactions was recorded. Results: The total effective rate of the acupuncture group (93.33%) was prominently higher than that of the training group (73.33%) (P<0.05). After 4 weeks of therapy, the FMA and BBS scores of both groups were prominently raised compared with those before therapy, and the levels of serum PCT and CRP were prominently decreased compared with those before therapy. Moreover, the improvement amplitudes of the above indicators in the acupuncture group were prominently greater than those in the training group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the acupuncture group (8.89%) was not prominently different from that in the training group (4.44%). Conclusion: Xingshen Tongjing Daoqi acupuncture combined with isokinetic-balance-weight loss continuous rehabilitation training can prominently improve the clinical efficacy of patients with post-CI hemi-plegia, effectively improve the motor and balance functions of patients, reduce serum inflammatory factors, and has good safety. |
