| EN Abstract: |
| Non-specific low back pain (NSLBP) is one of the leading causes of disability and loss of productivity, seriously compromising patients’ quality of life. Core stability training (CST), as a safe and effective non-pharmacological intervention, has been increasingly applied in the rehabilitation of NSLBP. However, the underlying mechanisms of its therapeutic effects have not yet been systematically clarified. This review synthesizes recent research on CST for NSLBP and summarizes the multiple mechanisms of action through which CST alleviates NSLBP, with a particular focus on biomechanical changes, neuromuscular control, psychological factors, and inflammatory responses. A better understanding of these mechanisms will help inform the development of precise, individualized intervention strategies and provide a theoretical basis for optimizing NSLBP rehabilitation programs and guiding future research. |
